Dairy Bucks
YBNVS Contracting Elucidation "Lucid"
I Chose 'Lucid', over the two other buck in his litter, kids because I liked his neck, width of chest, rear leg structure, and personality. He was the friendliest of the three. And His color is fun and different than what I currently have, so that may have helped too. Lucid Put Beautiful kids on the ground this year, 2008! We are very pleased. He will be breeding our Does, Gabrielle, for Purebred kids and Lark, for American, for 2009 kids!
Standing here with my 2 year old daughter, April 30, 2007.

Wind Ridge Giovanni "Giovanni"
He is actually longer in the back, he is sorta scrunched here. I don't have a picture taking helper, so this is the best I can get for now! Also, that is Caramelized "buck perfume" on his front legs, not tan color!!! Thanks for understanding ;0) We are happy to say we have a second Alpine buck. So, thank you Susan Long, for helping us add great genetics to our small herd! This is a very nice Sundagu buck. His sire is Redwood Hills Jaeger. He is displaying a very refined face, level topline, and very desirable Rear-end conformation.

MoonFire Alakazam Junior Herdsire
Alakazam is getting huge. He is such a pretty boy!
Alakazam, was one of the boys, that I loved from the time he hit the ground! I had not planned on keeping any buck kids this year, but when banding day came I just couldn't do it! He is gorgeous! His sister took Reserve Grand Champion this year at the Deschutes County Fair. She is going to do very well, I can see. He has the same balance, over all grace and Dairyness that makes you take pause. We look forward to using him next year!

This may change in the future, as our facility makes separating animals easier. For now, we are unable to keep noses from touching and feeders from being shared. We are going to focus on strengthening our herd and our genetics from within. If you want something we have, there will be kids available often. Please reserve a kid or email us for more info! Thanks for taking interest in our herd! MoonFire Farm Thank you for visitng!
