Boer Bucks - Our Herdsires
Tehachapi's Stetson Bay
This is Stetson, we were still 'feeding him up' and he was growing so fast! Here as a long yearling.. Tehachapi's Stetson Bay We are thrilled with Stetson's contribution to our farm! He has done great things to improve our meat goats, commercial and show breeding stock and of course competition show wethers.
Serenity and Seguaro both have had a nice show career at Tehachapi Boer
Goats and are both on their way to ennoblement. Stetson displays a smooth blended body with good bone, pigment and bite. He's long with good depth and width. He has a nice hindquarter and walks wide. All the qualifications for a wether sire. We are excited to see his performance here in Oregon! Stetson is his Shaggy Winter Coat! Can't wait to shave him! Stetson is level, wide and smooth.
*Seguaro is now owned by the Governor of the Philippines*

Tehachapi's Conan
Conan at 3 months
Conan at 1 year This is our New Buck kid, CONAN. This is the Buck kid we were hoping for, Out of Our own, Baby (Precious Asset). We are pleased to add him to our breeding program, this year, for 2009 kids! What a Handsome addition to MoonFire Farm's Boer Breeding Program! Conan Displays a tremendous amount of balance and strength. He stands square and wide and is well blended. His long neck and amazing coloration finish this young buckling beautifully. We are so excited to see his first kid crop this Spring, 2009! More kids pictures...
We are choosing to NOT offer our bucks to outside does at this time. This may change in the future, as our facility makes separating animals easier. For now, we are unable to keep noses from touching and feeders from being shared. We are going to focus on strengthening our herd and our genetics from within. If you want something we have, there will be kids available often. please reserve a kid or email us for more info! thanks for taking interest in our herd! MoonFire Farm
