We will miss our first Purebred French Alpine doe, Gabriel. She came to us from YBNVS French Alpines and Saanens. She was a beautiful, classy doe. She Scored an E in mammary as a first time freshener. Her udder was high and wide with a nice round arch. Her teat placement and delineation was very good. She had a long beautiful neck, deep heart girth and wonderful body capacity. Her rump was wide and square. She was a well blended, well balanced Large doe. She was 2nd place 3 year old at the 2005 District VII Alpine Specialty AND 19th place 3 year old at the 2005 ADGA National Show. In 2006 Gabriel was the 1st place 4 year old at the Oregon State fair. Her daughter, YBNVS Sorcerer Geneva, was 4th place intermediate kid at the 2005 ADGA National Show. We have retained a buck from her, she twinned Spring 2009 with bucks. We sold one to a pet home. They are both beautiful and we are not willing at this point o part with the genetics. She was a wonderful doe and our Herd Queen. She is missed.
